Indianapolis Staff Repair Stairs, Ramp for Homeowner

Staff in our Indianapolis office participated in a volunteer project with Home Repairs for Good, repairing the wood steps and ramp to the front door for a homeowner in Indianapolis.
The ramp, stairs, and handrail were significantly deteriorated and loose, posing a potential hazard for the homeowner and his guests.
“This was a relatively simple repair for our team, who are all handy, and it helped our neighbor age comfortably in his home and provided safer access for those who want to visit and meet with him,” engineer and Unit Manager Logan Cook said. “Helping make our community a better place is the right thing to do."
The mission of Home Repairs for Good is to help older adults and individuals with disabilities who own their homes age in place safely and with dignity.
