Experience
Mark Hayes is a recognized industry expert with thirty-eight years of experience in fire alarm systems. Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Hayes was manager of the Texas offices of a large international fire protection engineering firm. His responsibilities include design, layout, and review of fire alarm and occupant notification systems; system installation issues; and loss investigations. Mr. Hayes’ related duties include designing fire alarm system details; designing a variety of projects to ensure compliance with local code requirements and project specifications; construction management for various federal, state, and local government fire alarm/fire sprinkler retrofit projects; and producing illustrations to show solutions to complex technical problems.
