WJE Sponsors Cal Poly Student Graduation Symposium
WJE Associate Principal Garner Palenske recently joined twelve other graduates in the ninth class of California Polytechnic State University’s (Cal Poly) Fire Protection Engineering master of science program. Mr. Palenske, who has assisted with the program since its inception, graduated with honors. Cal Poly has the only west coast fire protection engineering curriculum.
WJE sponsored the Student Graduation Symposium, where the graduating class defended their projects in front of industry experts. WJE Principal and Unit Manager Carl Baldassarra, who was instrumental in the creation of the Fire Protection Engineering master of science program in 2010, was the guest speaker at the event as well as one of the evaluators.
