WJE-Authored Guidelines Receive PCI Award
Materials engineers John Lawler and Elizabeth Wagner received the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) 2023 Leslie D. Martin Certificate of Merit award for authoring the research report "Guidelines for the Use of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) in Precast and Prestressed Concrete."
The award recognizes PCI-published documents judged to be technically outstanding and commendable for its merit as a contribution to the advancement of precast concrete.
The report serves as a critical tool for technology transfer for the use of UHPC as a structural material for precast and precast/prestressed concrete structural members.
