Washington, D.C. Staff Race Office Chairs for Charity
Washington, D.C. staff recently took part in the annual Real Estate Games at American University in Washington, D.C., to raise funds and awareness for the Capitol Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Participants included construction companies, engineering/architecture firms, property owners, and property managers. WJE team members took part in various activities, including a one-mile run, swimming, tennis, table tennis, horse racing (on a toy horse), fastball pitching, a chair relay (racing an office chair around a track), and various other games and activities. The event raised more than $717,000 for JDRF’s ongoing research and services.
