Pantoli Receives EERI Award
WJE Associate Elide Pantoli recently received the Outstanding Earthquake Spectra Paper Award from the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) Board of Directors for her paper, “Landmark Data Set from the Building Nonstructural Components and Systems (BNCS) Project,” published in Earthquake Spectra, Vol. 32, No. 2, pp. 1239-1259. The paper describes full-scale testing, to the point of collapse, of structural systems including nonstructural elements, from the design of the experiments through to the presentation and analysis of the data. The award will be presented at the EERI 2018 Annual Meeting at the 11th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering in Los Angeles on June 28.
