Honolulu Office Celebrates Forty Years
On November 1, staff from the Honolulu office welcomed close to one hundred guests in celebration of WJE’s forty years in Hawaii. In 1979, Dick Elstner opened WJE’s Honolulu office. In October 2018, the office relocated to the Fort Street Tower at Topa Financial Center in downtown Honolulu. The office’s 40th anniversary celebration marked the first official open house/reception in their new home.
With newly installed art on the walls, guests sat around enjoying the food and company. Retired senior pastor of Kawaiaha’o Church, Reverend Curt Kekuna, also presented Honolulu staff with a thought-provoking Hawaiian dedication.
