Experience
Rob Bee has a construction background and is experienced in testing and evaluating construction materials including concrete, aggregates, mortar, grout, and reinforcing steel.
Working in WJE’s concrete, petrography, and chemistry laboratories, Mr. Bee primarily assists projects with sample preparation and destructive and nondestructive testing. He performs test methods such as concrete compressive strength, plastic concrete testing, aggregate gradations, aggregate absorptions, and specific gravity. He performs sample preparation through cutting, grinding, lapping, and polishing methods. Additionally, he helps maintain equipment and calibrations to support laboratory accreditations.
