George I. Taylor

Experience

Since joining WJE in 1986, George Taylor has been involved with prepurchase property condition assessments and in the investigation and repair distress conditions of many structures. He has analyzed structural components and systems of buildings and parking garages and has investigated distress in reinforced concrete, masonry brick, limestone, and terra cotta facades. Mr. Taylor has performed water testing of facades to identify leakage locations and developed repair designs to address distress conditions on facades and parking garages.

Mr. Taylor has been involved in more than three hundred projects related to prepurchase surveys, rehabilitation of distressed parking structures, and preparation of specifications for building facade and garage repairs. In addition, his work has included extensive involvement with the City of Chicago Fleet and Facilities Management.
