Erin E. Dunne

Experience

Erin Dunne joined WJE in 2018 as an architectural and preservation engineer with experience in the assessment and investigation of new and existing building enclosures, repair design, and construction administration services.

Ms. Dunne has investigated distressed masonry facades, performed water penetration investigations, and prepared construction drawings and details. She has worked on historic buildings and projects involving masonry investigation, design, and repairs, window repairs and replacement, roofing replacement, leakage investigation and repair, and facade improvements and repairs.

While attending Columbia University, Ms. Dunne, under her maiden name Murphy, researched mortar assemblies specific to the construction sequencing and use of formwork of Guastavino tile vault systems. Findings from this work have been published internationally in the History of Construction Cultures.
