Alan E. Hipps

Experience

Alan Hipps joined WJE in 2018, and his experience includes new building design and renovation projects for parking structures, and mixed-use, academic, residential, and institutional buildings. His projects have included construction and LEED documentation, construction administration and various code studies, and condition evaluations. Mr. Hipps is familiar with various construction materials, including masonry (terra cotta, stone, brick, concrete masonry units), concrete (reinforced, precast, post-tensioned), structural steel, wood, traffic-bearing membranes, waterproofing, insulated metal panels, and sealants. Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Hipps spent nearly nine years working on various new and renovation projects for an architectural design firm.
