Experience

Aaron Weiss’s experience encompasses a diverse range of both engineering and architectural projects involving assessment, design, repair, and rehabilitation of existing buildings. He has worked with a wide range of building systems and materials, including concrete, masonry, stucco, exterior insulation finish system cladding, and an array of window types. Mr. Weiss also has experience with design and investigation of below-grade waterproofing and roofing membranes.

Mr. Weiss has significant experience in the evaluation and repair of historic concrete and masonry facades, including stone, brick and terra cotta. His expertise includes investigation, assessment, instrumentation, and construction documentation and observation. He also has experience in evaluation, repair, and adaptive reuse of historic wood-framed structures.

Mr. Weiss has performed many investigations of damage from fire, water leakage, flooding, structural failure, and soil settlement for purposes of evaluation, repair, reconstruction, and restoration.
